Bocanada Studio is a creative powerhouse rooted in Mexico and the U.S., blending 2D/3D animation, post-production, and VFX with bold storytelling. To match this spirit, a versatile and expressive identity was created by Monga D., balancing editorial structure with irreverence and digital culture references. Our role at Clint was to expand this system into motion and 3D, transforming a flexible brand language into a vibrant, living identity.
We focused on crafting the motion behavior of the new identity—animating its modular typography, custom stickers, and digital-inspired elements. In parallel, we developed playful 3D visuals that extended the system into more tactile and immersive applications, from floating keyboard keys to animated textures. Together, these layers reinforced Bocanada’s dynamic, contemporary voice.
The combination of movement and 3D added rhythm and energy to the identity, ensuring it could thrive across digital platforms, events, and campaigns. What might have remained a static editorial system became a brand presence with character, attitude, and flow—perfectly aligned with Bocanada’s mission of connecting audiences through fresh, engaging creativity.
One of the most challenging yet fun aspects of the project was defining and developing the animated elements. They had to resonate with Bocanada’s craft while also carrying a playful, witty edge. From digital-inspired 3D objects to motion experiments with custom graphics, every detail was designed to be clever and memorable, striking a balance between technical precision and lighthearted character.
The process involved close collaboration between teams, moving from storyboard alignment to motion guidelines, 3D modeling, animation, and final compositing. Each step ensured that the identity remained consistent while leaving room for experimentation—a workflow that reflects both the technical discipline and the creative freedom at the core of Bocanada’s spirit.
