EGO is Porto Alegre's first electronic music listening bar, a space built around the tension between individuality and collective experience, self-expression and introspection. The visual identity was crafted by our friends at FatFace Studio, exploring the contradictions inherent to the ego itself: the duality between conscious and unconscious, real and imaginary, abstract and concrete. Our role at Clint was to bring this layered system to life through motion, giving rhythm and dimensionality to a brand already rich in concept and craft.

The ego mediates between what is felt and what is known, and this became the structural logic of the motion system. Gradients and blurred imagery, central to the visual identity, were translated into movement as a way of revealing hidden layers gradually, mirroring the experience of self-discovery the brand is built around.

The videocase became the place where the full system could breathe, an elegant sequence that moved through the identity to reveal its range. Logo variations, secondary marks, and applications across formats were brought together in a single flow, showing how versatile the visual system is and how naturally it adapts from one context to the next.

The logotype, with its characters subtly merging into one another, set the tone for how typography would behave in motion: fluid, transformative, and always in dialogue with itself. Combined with mixed media techniques and timing drawn from the sonic references of house and techno, the animations carry the same rhythm and dynamism found throughout the visual language.

Across logo reveals and social assets, the system behaves with a single coherence, every piece moving the way EGO thinks, holding two states at once and letting the brand live in the space between them.
